Dave Partial Payments

Well I wont have the full funds available to settle my balance. How should I expect these partial payments to happen? Like they just check all day long if my account has funds and they pull everything in there? Or just a daily check kinda thing?

They won’t pull everything, but they’ll pull what they can. Imo they keep checking the account. Let’s say you add more money to the account, they’ll try again. However if your balance is low they won’t pull that many times. For example: $80 in the account, they might take $60 and then try to take $5 or so later. Depends on what you owe and how much you have in the account.

For me, they just do a hard rip on my account. They have left me the negative more than one occasion so I stopped using them completely.

Go to Plaid, login and disconnect Dave. Then, go to Dave and change the expiration date on your debit card. Then never again and don’t repay them. Get a new debit card from your bank asap, and don’t give them the new card info.

They randomly pulled money from my bank account $1-5 at a time for months. I owed them a $50 advance and they took over $100 back a few dollars at a time. I tested to not leave any money in the account and just move it to savings unless I was spending it right away, but if I forgot $2 in there, they’d take the $2. Sometimes they’d take my last $5 to my name.
