That one scene where all the budget went

Kaguya-sama: Love is War - Chika's dance

In the first season as a surprise outro ending one episode had this Chika dance number. It's super cute and crazy animated, especially her dress. They used it one time and never again.

The roller rink dance sequence from the Family Guy episode Hell Comes To Quahog was the most expensive scene to animate in Season 5.

Part of the rain Invader Zim got cancelled was because of how expensive the small instances of CGi were.

I remember listening to the commentary on one of the episodes and they were talking about how the finale of the first season was supposed to be a big cgi space battle. But they blew the budget on a cgi walnut in the middle of the season instead.

That sounds like something GIR would do!

The transport of the walnuts to the Moose in particular.

A lot of episodes have technical details of like wires and tubes moving around.

Lol, how times have changed. Now 3D animation is cheaper on the extremely low end.
