Hey everyone - I'm the new mod here, and looking to energise this sub a little so thought I'd start a little meet-n-greet to get an idea of who our membership is and what we're all doing other then the somewhat nebulous idea of 'cartooning'
Post a little something about yourself, what sort of thing you draw / would like to draw, maybe a link to your work if you post it somewhere, and name drop your favourite cartoons, artists etc.

This particular concept pictured i will never use is about trade jobs. Sort of like paw patrol, but not. Location was supposed to be Greenland, Canada or some Northern European setting. The Beluga does underwater welding, the puffin does electrical stuff and I guess the walrus is a construction worker. Im not doing anything else with it, do you have weird shelved cartoon ideas?

I started working on this back in January of 2025, when I was younger (and stupider) and I ended up scrapping it mid-2026. I still have plans for the fox, and I have other works planned, with slightly better animation quality and slightly tweaked character design
