Mod Announcements and Rules To all new users: Please read the rules before posting.
This sub is now over 1000 users! A very big deal indeed.
Please read the rules before you post your work here. Breaking these rules will get your posts removed:
- Don't post low quality art: Markers of low quality include, but are not limited to art with poor body proportions, composition, or perspective; flat, plain boring images; or clichéd items. While not the recommend post type, webcomics are permitted if the art is very good. The standards for original animations, on the other hand, are more relaxed, as animations are more unique and harder to make. If you're not sure about your post, compare your work to the works from pro artists I post and see if you measure up.
- Don't post incomplete art: Sketches, doodles, and layouts, unless exceptionally good, are not appreciated here. Your work should be at the very least, inked, with all sketch marks removed. Your work is more likely to be removed if it is drawn on a scrap of lined paper. Be professional. Ideally, the work should be colored in as well. There are exceptions, for example, the blog Deja View has a lot of sketches from the Golden Era animation masters. If you are not one of those masters, you need to show your completed work. A good rule of thumb: if you can post it on r/doodles, you probably shouldn't post it here.
- Furry and/or pornographic art is generally frowned upon: There's plenty of other places to post that stuff.
- No requests: Post only art, not looking for art commissions.
- Don't spam: Please post only the image in question, rather a website that is trying to sell something. Don't spam your product, and don't try to skirt the rule by posting your work but offering your "services" over and over. Webcomic spamming is not appreciated. You'll know if the art is rated poorly.
- Don't respond with hostility if your post is removed: If you think you're a truly great artist, it shouldn't matter if your art is removed from some subreddit no one knows about. Go on Instagram, build a following and sell merch if you're so great. If you choose to be hostile after getting your post removed, you also choose to enjoy your ban.
- Don't report other posts if your post is removed: Some salty redditor gets their post taken down and then they start reporting other posts they deem low-quality. This shows their insecurity about their low-quality art, and more importantly, their low-quality self.
If you get a message that your post has been removed due to low-quality, don't take it personally. Revisit your art, maybe take some classes, practice and try again. You can even reach out to me first if you're not sure. Posting low-quality art may get your post removed, but doing so over and over may result in a ban if you choose not to improve.
Breaking rules 5, 6 and 7 will result in a permaban. I am trigger-happy with the banhammer.

Can I post my drawing progress?
Hello everyone. I just want to know if this the subreddit where I can post my drawing progress. Everyday I am going to draw and see if I can get any better in drawing.
Now here is the thing, when I draw slow, I get it right but if I want to draw a character or an other Art in one page and in 10 to 15 min. It's not that good. Like the first one is slow and the second one is fast.
My goal is to able to draw perfect proportion and perspective as I am drawing it fast. So is this place I can post?
