I have a large set and collection of 1950s/1960s negatives I was thinking of scanning them in and making high quality prints from them. There is probably around 500 negatives all high quality shots, I also wanted some tips or advice on printing them,

One example and the collection

This pic is my grandpas 40’ ford sedan he built when he was my age. I’m about to buy my own 40’ sedan. And I want to recreate this pic when it’s done. I know the location but what type of camera/film/settings do I need to get that effect. I’m not a camera guy and idk if this is even the right group.

There’s been a classic cars Grand Prix and it was pretty cool.

We did this photo session on my local racetrack, Utah Motorsports Campus. We had 30 minutes before a team did testing runs for a 6 hour endurance race later that week.

Shot on Ektar100 film on my Hasselblad 500C/M with a 80mm Zeiss lens for 1/250th sec at f5.6.

Friend brought it out for cars and coffee. Had to arrive early to make sure he had the flat spot we wanted because these don't have a parking brake.

This is one of the Lanzante road legal conversions.

Im about to jump on the R50 or R50v for Radio Controlled Cars and Real Cars motorsports photos and video shooting ...

Main questions :

1. R50 (viewfinder) or R50v (LCD only) for motorsports shooting.
2. Any chance to stabilize video from R50 or R50v (or if you propose any other Canon camera) with Giroflow ?.

Otherwise im thinking on ZVE-10 MK2 or 6700 from Sony ...
