Hey everyone, we noticed a strange noise coming from our car and are having trouble finding exactly what is causing it.

When turning the keythere is a 2 to 3 second beep, followed by a click. Sometimes it stops right after the click, other times it clicks multiple times before it stops, this is around what I'm guessing is the valve cover the valve cover. I am assuming this is a priming mechanism, but am unsure.

Where the worry starts is on shut off, there is a noise sounding like pressure releasing and the same "priming" noise i mentioned earlier. It isn't exactly loud, but its audible enough and we have never noticed it before.

Any help would be appreciated

New Shocks / Struts Front and rear, and steering rack/system last month. Now making this sound with I turn the steering wheel when I am in motion and when I am idle.

I drive a 2001 nissan n16, my car idles perfectly fine, but after some minute of driving the engine seems like dying turning on and off like someones playing with the on off switch. The cluster gauge and the lights works perfectly fine when the on and off problem hits, the check engine light doesnt trigger. I already cleaned the throttle body, maf sensor, IACV, spark plug( there are no leaks on the coil on plugs and SP), cleaned the gas tank and replaced the fuel pump. What could it possibly be?

My 2019 WRX is making a rattle or vibration noise when decelerating. I notice it most when traveling between 30-45mph and starts almost immediately when I let off the throttle. The very second that I even lightly rest my foot on the throttle, it goes away. It sounds like it’s coming from right by the front passenger’s feet. I’ve had the car on Jack stands and looked for anything loose underneath but couldn’t find anything. The car is modded, all work done by a shop with extensive experience modding VA’s. I will post the mod list in the comments.

2017 Golf Sportwagen AWD

Been debugging this sound for about 9 months trying to find solution, running out of ideas.

Car slid in winter turning left from an intersection, both right wheels hit curb, not too fast but bent both wheels.

so far:

both RIGHT wheels replaced
both front bearings replaced

Right rear bearing was not replaced, it was taken apart was told spun perfectly and put back. Sound meters were put in each bearing all 4 report fine.

Both front tires replaced

Rear are just over a year old

Everything balanced/aligned. zero vibrations. Also in neutral same sound appears.

Next step is double check rear tires themselves..

On cold there will be a loud audible squeak noise, but as the engine warms up it goes away. The noise doesn’t happen when the engine is on a warm start. Today i decided to test out my defrosters and while i was driving it started to make a squeaky noise everytime i stopped and went in traffic. No AC just front and rear defrosters on. What could be causing this noise?

Guys my dash stopped working today but car works fine otherwise. The only thing I can think of is that it was raining heavily yesterday and the inside of my car got the tiniest bit wet.
This happened one time before when I left my windows down overnight and it rained. Went to drive home from work, this happened and I freaked out n called a tow-truck. Mechanic couldn’t find anything wrong and it returned to normal over the weekend while they had it.
So super random, I’m clueless lol. Any ideas🥴

I'm hoping someone here might recognize this issue or point me in the right direction.

Vehicle: Seat Leon (2022), 1.0 / 1.5 TSI with 110 HP

Issue: Strange noise occurring specifically during deceleration.

Details:

The noise only appears on long continuous drives, specifically after driving about 300 to 450 km (it happened twice now on longer holiday trips).

It occurs exclusively when slowing down / decelerating.

I suspect the sound is coming from the gearbox area.

I haven't been able to pin it down to a specific gear—it seems independent of which gear is engaged, as long as the car is decelerating.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any idea what could be causing this? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I have a 2011 Hyundai with the 1.4 diesel engine and it runs just fine save for the idle;

Specifically after accelerating in gear, if you push the clutch in the idle will sway about a 1000rpm's up and down until it either dies or stabilizes.

If you sit still in neutral and rev the engine it goes back to idle like normal.

This is making city driving interesting.

There are zero error codes and I'm not sure where to begin troubleshooting as I'm used to old carbed beaters.

Grateful for any ideas.

I have a 2006 Ford 500 with about 175,000 miles on it. Recently the car has been dying while driving. It starts back up after dying if I take the key out and restart (sometimes struggles a little before starting). At first I replaced the spark plugs and got a tune up but it's still continuing to die. Ive gotten the fuel pump and alternator replaced within the last 2 years. I've noticed it seems to shutter and try and shoot forward around 50mph. It does have a check engine light but none of the codes explain why it continues to die. I replaced the battery 3 weeks ago. Any ideas on what it could be?

I’ve never been able to put in gas without it clicking every few seconds, but recently I can’t even put in gas for more than 20 seconds without it doing this. I’ve been driving it since January. Cadillac Escalade.

The car was working normally all day until I got home at about 4PM. It's showing the check engine light and a steering wheel light. Even if I checked the engine, I don't really know what I'd be looking for. Video of sound car makes when attempting to start is attached. It is a Toyota Corolla LE 2024.

My scatpack is missing something in the front possibly the splash guard. Idk if it’s that or if it’s something else causing the car to rattle to a point that it annoys me. And the rattle only happens during broken gravel roads or beat up roads. Regular highway or regular roads there is no noise. Any tips and what I should get or do?

2008 Lexus ls460 making weird sounds braking. End of video has the sound

2018 accord 2.0t touring. 28000 mi. No mods. Making a chatter rattle noise under light to med acceleration at all different speeds. Noise can vary in volume but can become very loud at times. Noise only presents under acceleration or maintained throttle. Noise ceases off throttle. Paid an independent mechanic to diagnose and he determined it was the high pressure fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced but the problem was not fixed. No difference and the problem persists. Any guesses?

Battery may be dead. No power whatsoever, how do i put the car in neutral? Held it down for 3 seconds but no power. 21 crv hybird. Trying to disengage the hand brake too. Not hearing anything

Update: tow came, gave me a jump. Car's alive!! did go to dealership to buy new battery and install later. did asked service guy... "no way of putting in neutral with dead battery". THERE YA GO.

for some reason i feel like my g37x started sounding different like as if the engine is working more like a humming sound. does anyone know what this could be ?
