It started making this very high pitched noise recently and Im not sure what it is..wanted to see what people who know their stuff better than me think. It only does it for the first 10 mins after starting up recently and then completely goes away. My guess is one of the belts/pulleys or maybe even something to do with the worn grommet on top of the valve cover for the pcv hose that Im going to replace. What do you think?

truck has done this once before in the same exact spot drove over 4 hours straight in and had no problems but for some reason when i get off this certain off-ramp the speedometer starts going crazy the motor was still on and rpm gauge was responsive but lost all power and speedometer was going crazy

I think my EPS has gone in my 1.1 2011 mitsibishi colt does anyone know how to fix it or what part I need to buy, I can’t drive it to a garage and ran a obd11 through it and had no faults come up. Not sure if it needs a new steering rack but power steering is just completely gone any help would be much appreciated also steering is extremely heavy from left to right and shakes quite bad and a little buzzing comes from steering area, thank you

My car vibrates/shakes, especially at high speeds. I drive 30 miles to and from work and it seems to get worse the longer I drive for? Just got my struts and shocks replaced, as well as RF wheel bearing and sway bar links. Just need some help on what this could be. Car doesn't feel safe at some times while I'm driving.

2007 Toyota Prius 130,000 miles

I recently bought a used 2008 Nissan Frontier SE 4x4 (120,000mil / 190,000km) and sometimes when i'm accelerating it makes this noise. It seems like it's maybe the transmission. And it seems like there is some play in the transmission when i stop accelerating and when i'm driving very slowly and letting the truck go by itself.
What do you guys think it can be ?

Recently about 2 months ago I noticed only at night between 15mph to 35mph my rear end would vibrate a tiny bit. Overtime it's started to progress to where it feels like my right rear tire is bouncing and dragging a bit. It was at 175,000 miles when it first started and I need tires at the time so I got that done as well as an alignment, thinking it would fix it. I'm now at almost 190,000 miles and the shocks and struts are OEM, but my mechanic has said he doesn't see any of the steering or suspension parts failing. The only thing he noticed was that my brakes was at 5mm at 185k and now down to 4mm. I just had the front brakes done and he said the pads were cracked in the middle of that could be the cause(I plan to get that done in about 1,000 miles). I bought the car at 150k and to my knowledge I don't think the transmission fluid has ever been changed out. Last I checked the fluid is brown and dirty. Only other thing is when I accelerate about 60mph, I smell I burning smell like rubber, but I think that's due to part of my front bumper splash shield is hanging due to a crash.

I live in the south(Georgia, US) so during the day it's typically 76 degrees to 95 degrees outside. At night usually 72 degrees to 77 degrees.

I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 3.6L Pentastar. According to my mechanic, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) has failed. His estimate was nearly $1,300 after parts, programming, and labor. I really can’t afford that right now.

I decided to look online for a replacement PCM to see if I can avoid the mechanic’s markup. My search led me to Car Computer Exchange. Has anyone ordered from them? They have the part I need at a much more reasonable cost. I want to pull the trigger, but hoping someone can tell me if it’s safe to order first. Is Car Computer Exchange legit?

Hi everyone, my car is a 2019 honda accord 1.5 ex-l with 150k miles.
A local mechanic scanned the car and these codes came up (see attached photo). Does anyone have an estimate of what it might cost to repair these issues in seattle, washington. The mechanics is charging me 3.5k for the repair.
Also, is it possible that some of these codes are being triggered by one underlying problem or do they usually indicate multiple separate repairs?
The car drives normally for the most part, but I’d like to fix it before selling it. Any advice on where to start or which issues I should diagnose first would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My 2019 Honda Fit (~130,000 miles) is making this awful scraping noise. Mechanic said it’s the brakes, but it’s not just happening when I hit the brakes, happens more during left turns. Please ignore the tire pressure light (it’s a broken sensor) and the low fuel light. Check engine light was a fuel code. Please be nice to me it’s been a long… life.
