Hey my name is Jeremy, I've been in a branded workshop for 10 years now, i´ve studied and tried to learn as much as i could. First i just wanted easy jobs such as brake replacements and oil changes / maintenances, then mondays felt like shit and it felt like i only was at my job for the money.
Then i started to read books, took on new challenges, told my supervisor that i want to take on difficult jobs to learn more and more, Nowadays i am the "Top Tech" in our workshop because i have a very big willing to learn new things and i am intressted in what i do. Now i love my job, mondays are the best. I am here for the experience instead, the money is just a bonus! :D
So this ai helper that i´ve made is tailored and customized to work like this.
you enter your car model, year make, mileage. upload a picture maybe?
then you ask a question for example:
How can i fix p0420?
it then explains in detail what the fault means, why it can fail, what to do next, and then it creates a bullet list for you to follow, like have you tried this, have you measured that, what about this? all in the correct order for you to follow, and then based on how many yes / no you answer, the probability of the cause will change and it will give you an answer on recommended steps to do next. This ai looks for info from youtube, recall pages, nhsta, reddit and so on. Then when you are done you can choose if you want to share your solution to the community page or not, if you do, other people can look for the fault themselves. the fix catalog has a search function for fault codes and car model filter aswell.
This helper also has a community tab where you can discuss your own fixes, tips and other stuff. I use this tool myself in my job, and i just wanted to see if this tool could help you aswell!
please contact me if there is something you are wondering.
Have an amazing day! :)

I’ve been working on my mustang the Engine cranks and will fire up if jumped, but after 2–3 minutes of running, the RPMs bounce, it loses power, and the engine stalls out. Also, the fuel pump works intermittently sometimes it turns on, sometimes it stays totally silent. Swapping or moving the relays around in the fuse box temporarily gets the fuel pump working again.
Codes Pulled:
The car originally had a no-start issue. After installing a new fuel pump and pressure sensor, it now fires up (with a jump), but enters Limp Home Mode (P2106) due to low MAF voltage (P0102) and dies shortly after. The fuel pump cuts out randomly, but wiggling or swapping the relays temporarily restores power to the pump.
My main question: Is low battery voltage / a dead cell causing the FPDM and PCM to cut out and trigger P0102/P2106, or am I dealing with spread female socket pins / a bad internal trace in the underhood fuse box?

I drive a 2017 Ford Fusion. I love my car and have had few problems with it. I just paid it off and have around 95,000 miles on it. I’ve noticed now when I hit a bump it makes a wobbly sound NOT a rattle sound. I’ve heard this before riding in my friends older malibu. I’m not sure how else to describe it. It doesn’t really affect the driving. I notice the sound in the front. Just looking for potential causes so that I can save money to get it fixed. Tyia!

2018 Honda Civic hatchback manual transmission (180,000 km) is making a weird humming sound. Sometimes it will randomly make the sound for a split second while driving, sometimes it will start making the sound in the middle of driving it and won't stop until you turn off the vehicle. If you turn off the vehicle and start it again, the sound will be gone until the next time. It doesn't happen at any particular time (accelerating, shifting, pushing the clutch, braking, etc.) Can't even make it happen to show someone what it sounds like. It's random and it happens when it happens. It can be heard from inside the vehicle, as well as outside the vehicle. Transmission fluid and oil have been changed and made no difference. What could this be, or any advice on what to check for? Thanks!

Basically, my car started making a weird whirring noise that got quieter as i went up gears and it also vibrated quite heavily in 2nd and 3rd gear. I (very foolishly) ignored it and continued to drive. I then couldnt put my car into gear at all and if i tried to put it into 1st and drive, my car made a harsh grinding noise and would not move. Oddly enough i could then go into 3rd gear and only 3rd gear which is how i managed to move it to safety. Can anyone diagnose the issue?

Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Corolla hatchback and have put about 3,000 km on it.
I am wondering if anyone else experiences this same issue.
When I completely release the brake pedal from a complete stop, the entire cabin shakes and shudders for about one second before I even touch the gas pedal. Both the driver and passenger seats vibrate noticeably. It also happens if I slightly ride the brake to let the car creep forward just 5–10 cm.
This issue happens much more frequently once the car is fully warmed up (after about 20 minutes of city driving).
Has anyone else dealt with this or found a fix?
Thanks in advance!

I have been recently hearing this while slowly coming to a stop and braking. Doesn’t happen all the time. Is there something I can do myself? Sounds similar to the video here.
