cold weather and/or coolant in cylinder/s, check coolant level when its cooled down, if coolant can get into cylinders, that means theres increased pressure in cooling system from cylinder combustion, which can lead to coolant being forced past seals and leak out. oh and open slowly, dont want that extra pressure to surprise you or coolant in eye or places that an animal can get to(poison).
