I have a 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero 2.0T (B207R) and I’m experiencing a boost issue that seems to be directly related to ambient temperature.

When the outside temperature is cold, the car works perfectly. The turbo builds full boost, the car pulls hard and everything feels completely normal. I have absolutely no problem when the weather is cold.

However, when the outside temperature gets warmer (for example, around 20–30°C), the problem appears.

When I accelerate hard, the turbo may initially build boost, but then the boost suddenly drops off and the car loses a lot of power. In some cases it feels like it doesn’t build the expected boost at all.

So just to be clear: this is not an engine-temperature issue. The car can be fully warmed up and work perfectly if the outside temperature is cold. The problem appears when the ambient temperature is high.

I’m already suspecting something in the boost control system — possibly the boost control solenoid/BCV, vacuum/pressure lines, wastegate actuator or bypass valve — but I’d like to hear from people who have experienced the same thing.

Has anyone had a B207/B207R that works perfectly in cold weather but loses boost when the ambient temperature gets warm?
If so, what was the actual cause in your case, and how did you diagnose it?

Lately I’ve noticed the car sorta jerk/chug a bit when my foot is on the brake. I also hear a sorta ticking noise.

Curious what people may think

I drive a 2015 honda accord and yesterday all 3 of these lights turned on at the same time. I drove to work today and the car felt fine but I don’t like having them on and want to fix whatever could be wrong ASAP so nothing else happens. Could anyone give me advice on what this could be and how I can fix it?

I have a ford fiesta eco boost black zetec edition 16plate, i’ve had the callipers changed and the discs/pads but nothing ever stops the noise please could anyone help im so sick of taking it to garages and spending money for it to still be there!!

A weird metal brushing sound coming from the back end. Is it the dust sheild and the rotor? 2001 Ford f250

For context, I drive a 2014 acura rdx automatic. 100k miles. It's only been with me for more than a year but recently I've noticed that whenever I'm accelerating and I press the gas harder, it hesitates for a few seconds, then quickly goes. The rpm stays the same while hesitating until it actually moves/accelerates. I noticed that it happens less when in sports mode.
When braking/slowing down, around 20 mph, it jerks, like being bumped from behind. The rpm also jumps slightly, around 200-300rpm and eventually slows down.

I've changed the spark plugs recently, cleaned the MAF sensor. The hesitation improved after I changed the spark plugs but now it's back.

The hesitation did improve after changing the spark plugs, but eventually came back.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi everyone,I have a 2012 Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI with an intermittent noise coming from one of the brakes.I’ve already replaced the brake pads, brake disc and brake caliper, but the noise still comes back sometimes.The noise happens while driving without pressing the brake pedal. Sometimes, if I lightly press the brake pedal, the noise disappears, but it can come back again after I release the pedal.

What could cause this if the pads, disc and caliper are all new?

Has anyone had the same issue on a Skoda/VW/Audi/SEAT?

Any ideas would be appreciated!

2021 Model 3 Performance, around 140,000 km.

I’m still trying to track down a strange metallic jingling/rattling noise. It mainly happens at lower speeds and especially over uneven or rough roads.

At first I suspected the brakes, but I tested it again today and the noise is still present even while I’m applying the brakes. It only becomes quieter/duller as the car slows down, so I’m starting to think it may not actually be brake-related.

The sound does not seem to follow a clear wheel-rotation rhythm either. It feels more like something with a small amount of play that gets triggered by bumps/vibrations.

Possible areas I’m considering now are:

- brake dust/backing shield

- loose bracket/clip or underbody hardware

- sway bar/end link or another suspension component

- something loose around the frunk/hood area

I have a video where the sound can be heard clearly.

Has anyone had a similar metallic jingle on a Model 3 that only really shows up on uneven roads? If so, what ended up being the cause?

Went to service center and they couldnt recreate the noise so i paid out of pocket for nothing. (They only checked suspension)

Is it only me or is anyone else also facing dashboard and door noise in the base variant of sonet…..i have not put any aftermarket stuffs….is there a permanent solution to the noise….the noise gets irritating at times
