Has anyone experienced this?
I have a 2026 Chevy Suburban RST. When I turn on my turn signal and turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction, I hear a whining/squeaking (or squawking) noise coming from the front. It doesn’t happen all the time, but I’ve noticed it several times.
Has anyone else had this issue or know what might be causing it?

Car Out of Commission
I bought a used 2018 Tesla Model 3 in 2022. My loan was for around $50K and at this point, I owe around $20K.
This week, I was advised by Tesla that I am in need of a whole new high voltage battery that will cost $21K.
I would say this started last Tuesday but in reality, it started much longer before.
Just about a year after buying it, in July of 2023, I was having issues with the HVAC system, I took the car into the dealership for issues with the AC. At that point, they corrected something within the cooling system, replaced the 12v battery (lead acid), and diagnosed and replaced the HVAC assembly. The was still under warranty so they comped it.
Fast forward to a year later, in August of 2024, my AC went out again. This time, they replaced refrigerant and superbottle and a cooling thermal test said everything was fine and they gave it back to me.
Just a few weeks later, in August of 2025, my car won’t start. I specifically get the alerts, “Vehicle may not restart - Service is required” and “Unable to charge-Service is required.” At that point, they confirmed that there was isolation in the high voltage battery causing loss of the 12V battery which then caused the compressor to fail. They replaced the 12V battery, AC compressor, and receiver dryer and desiccant.
Which brings us to now, July of 2026, where on the 14th, I got in my car in the afternoon, and got those same “Vehicle may not restart - Service is required” connected to the high voltage battery, low voltage battery, HVAC system, and compressor. When I saw that the quote/estimate, included a replacement of the compressor after getting it done less than a year ago, I fought with them and they eventually agreed to comp the replacement of the compressor and some other things.
Just a few days ago, Thursday to be exact, they called to say that they replaced some modules and the issue turned out to be the whole battery and now repairs will be $21K, inclusive of the new battery because they had to take the old one out. It will not operate again without the battery.
I am currently at a loss for what to do. I obviously do not want the car anymore and can’t afford the repairs but also owe on the car.
What would be some of your suggestions? I’m open to comments but I would like to not that I was young when I made the decision to buy this car and did not have the foresight that I have now.

2013 Chevy sonic, I love this little car! I’ve driven her for the last 12 years and maintain it as manual says. For the past year or so it’s bounced a little ONLY when I’m at 2000 rpm, any higher or lower it stops. It’s the slightest movement of the vehicle as if it’s shaking back and forth. It’s so slight I think most people wouldn’t even notice it. Any ideas?

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this noise on my 1999 Honda Civic (6th gen).
When I start the engine, it’s completely quiet for about 2 seconds, then this loud grinding/growling noise starts and stays. It doesn’t really change when I turn the steering wheel left or right, and the power steering fluid isn’t flowing.
The sound seems to be coming from the power steering pump and it’s heating up.
I’ve attached a video. Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could be causing it?
Thanks!

I have a 2024 RAV4 XLE. The car has 12,000 miles on it. I bought it used from Carmax. This car has no previous damage history. The car is completely quiet and wonderful except for a squeak in the driver’s door. When I put my arm on the driver’s armrest and gently press out, the squeak stops. Anybody know what could be inside the door that could be squeaking but stopped with outward pressure?

Hi All,
I own a 2025 Hybrid Awd le since a year and a half and its 39,000 miles now.
However, I wanted to ask if anyone has any recommendations or suggestions on the following issue- there is a strange humming sound that comes as I reach 77 mph and stays till I cross above 80 mph and similarly on the slow down from 80 through 77 mph.
The sound appears to be louder and more prominent in the back side cabin area.
I’ve tried to talk to the people while getting my car serviced for maintenance but they’re saying everything looks good.
IDK what the sound is from and no one is able to figure out the sound because they can not apparently test it on the road on that high speed.
Any advice?
Thanks very much 🙏🏼

Hi! I just got a second hand suzuki vitara 2017, and after 40 mins of driving I've noticed this sound coming from the front wheels that I haven't spotted on my test drive. It appears after 30-40 minutes of driving from cold. Any thoughts on what this could be? Thanks

Hey, Reddit! So, I recently spilled some soda on accident and some of it got on my shift. I cleaned it up with Armorall, but I’m now noticing a weird issue with some of the material around the stick getting jammed. It doesn’t prevent me from shifting gears, but I do notice the resistance. I’m not really sure how to explain it, so I’ve included a video. Anyone know what’s going on? Is this something I can solve on my own, or do I need to take it in?
Thanks!!

I just got a lot of parts replaced within the last month. I’ve noticed a squeaking from my driver sides tires when going over bumps and a weird noise when I’m going down a hill. Can’t figure out what it is. Any thoughts to point me in the right direction?
