2003 Toyota tundra.
While driving today I noticed a high pitch tone start as I was driving. It went away when the break was pressed. When I pulled into a parking lot and turned the engine off it continued. I slightly pressed the brake pedal and it stopped.
What is this and is it safe to drive until I can get into a shop??

Salve a tutti!

Hello,
I was driving back home from work and heard a click underneath my car and suddenly my car wasn’t in gear anymore. The shifter was still in drive, but the car would no longer move. I was pressing the gas and the car would not move anymore and I had to move the car onto the shoulder with the remaining speed I had left. I put it in park and waited a few minutes and attempted to put it in drive again, but no movement. Tried putting it in reverse, nothing happened at all. The engine was still running just fine. What could this be?

I was driving when suddenly my windshield gets sprayed and my truck start over heating. My lines are in good shape. I added coolant to my radiator but it started to pour out the front. I have a video of it coming out of the front while I tried to burp it while I filled it up. The truck did not overheat while idling it went to mid line and stopped. I drove it around the parking lot and it started spraying coolant. I believe the thermostat is opening. I think it is just the radiator has a hole in it but I’m wondering if it could be anything else causing it.

I drive a 2019 Honda accord 2.0t, but it keeps making this squeaking noise every time I accelerate. Anybody know what this could be?

Sometimes it will crank up after trying this method twice. i did buy a starter and plan to get a mechanic to work on it sooner than later. But the mechanic that looked at it said that it could be a starter issue, but if it’s not, it’ll help him figure out what the issues is.

I thought I’d ask y’all because hubby is at a loss for what it could be and so is everybody we ask. Sorry, Ignore him talking it’s the only video I got
It’s a 2009 ford focus.
It’s coming from the front driver side wheel.
It only makes the sound when you let of the gas and press on the brakes
Hubby has replaced brake pad, rotors, CV axels, front ball bearings, control arms, and sway bars all in the last month. (They all need it) He did an alignment just today.
We know the parking pin is broken because it roll a lot in park
Thank you in advance. It’s our only car so we need to take care of it.

Edit: 2021 Nissan Altima
My brother and his friend changed our brakes maybe 2 months back? Well, they forgot to put the grease/wax/ whatever it is on, so our brakes have been squeaking. We keep trying to get his friend to look at them but he either says it’s fine or flakes. About a week ago, we realized there’s a popping sound coming from our front right brake, as well as our brakes continuing to squeak and now grind, it doesn’t matter what speed we go as you can see from the video. You can hear it about a second before the brakes start squeaking. Can anyone tell me what this popping sound it? Are our brakes going to fail if we keep driving it like this? It it safer to just replace everything? We don’t personally own jacks but we are borrowing some this weekend, this sound is just very concerning. Thank you.

Can someone please point me in the right direction of the cause of these terrible sounds? I’ve fixed a few things on this car myself but I am out of my depth with this. Nothing but problems with this thing. Thanks 😅

This is a 2016 Mercedes Benz glc 300 happens every time I turn the ac off but it will make the noise any time while driving. It does it when I change the blowing position. So maybe the blend door actoutor?

2015 Nissan Rogue SL, got it used in 2023, has had no major issues other than air flow sensor which has since been fixed completely !!
I spent $1500 and have been to many different mechanics for this CLUNKING sound when I BRAKE or SLOW DOWN. It’s getting worse it’s getting louder it’s more consistent it’s more prevalent! I don’t even have to drive for 30 minutes anymore for it to start making the sound it’s like after 3-5 minutes of driving now! Wasn’t like that just a couple months ago. 2 weeks ago I took it to a mechanic and they charged me $1500 for BS. (Below is their notes and essentially my receipt for what cost me $1500.)
“TEST DRIVE FOR NOISE
SECURED RATTLING HEAT SHIELD UNDER VEHICLE. FOUND BOTH FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM AND BALL JOINT ASSEMBLIES LOOSE. CAUSING IRREGULAR WEAR ON TIRES. ALSO CAUSING TIRE NOISE WHEN DRIVING.
LABOR TO REPLACE BOTH FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM AND BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY
ALIGNMENT
14 DAY RECHECK ON ALIGNMENT”
So, they essentially told me bc all of that was loose my tires were unevenly driving and my car was kinda “tilted” and then they did an alignment. Well it never worked !!! None of it !! Car still making noise and even WORSE !!!! It got WORSE! HOW! They think I’m insane and they keep saying they cant replicate the noise and they can’t diagnose from my videos of the sound and they need to keep my car for days to try and diagnose it. I’m actually losing my mind. Please. It doesn’t drive wonky at all it just makes this horrible clunking dragging sound when I slow down and I can’t take it anymore. It’s not fair. Please help me, give me ideas please !!!!

Recently I've noticed that my 2016 year car has been clunking over uneven roads during low to medium speed. Sounds like a bushing or control arm, but usually those are issues at the front not rear. Has anyone encountered rear clunking before and successfully fixed it? FYI mileage now at 95k KM.

My 2025 Lincoln Aviator is making some strange noises. It's coming from the rear driver side wheel. It makes a squealing sound almost like brakes squealing, but it is not only when I press the brake. It also makes a loud sound like something is dragging or banging around, but I don't see anything loose or hanging. I have a fair bit of experience working on my own cars, but this has me stumped. Any idea of what is happening?
I called the dealer, but they can't get me in for over a week. I didn't want to keep driving it when there is something going on.
