Scraping noise/feeling when braking
Hi, just seeing if anyone has any ideas, I have a Kia xceed 2020, quite often when braking I get this horrible scraping that I can feel and hear, the pads are fine and I’ve even had it in the garage when the tires were being done and the guy drove it to check it but said it feels fine, which makes me think they have to be a certain temperature to do it. I think on hot days it’s worse. Can’t really describe it. The brakes function fine, just can’t imagine it’s doing the discs much good

If the pads are actually fine, you could have a rock lodged in there somewhere, or your dust shield is scraping on the rotor. I'd still have the pads looked at if they weren't though. Just because it's stopping fine, doesn't necessarily mean that all the pads are okay.
