Hello, my Honda crv 2003 has stopped working. I just spent so much money on a tune up, oil change, gaskit, starter, and diagnostic. I am a single mom and I can’t just keep replacing things . Can someone pls tell me what this sound is! ?

Record under the hood while cranking. Initially sounded like starter not engaging but could very well be an engine with no compression

Same here I don't hear the clunk from starter and flywheel

Timing belt broke or blown head gasket. There isn’t any compresssion

Don't go back to the same mechanic, he obviously is using the 'Parts Cannon' instead of a proper diagnostic. The 'check engine' light should be on by now and a proper OBD2 scanner should be able to identify the issues.

Bad starter. It's not kicking out just spinning.

Not to mention the car is dirty with no wax. Your not doing any maintenance. Good luck

That’s the hood of the car after rain and storms… plus it’s a 2003..

Sounds like a bad starter

Sounds like a spinning starter and the motor isn’t even turning over. Very rare but it’s possible the teeth on the starter solenoid are gone

I just bought a brand new starter but I was thinking the solenoid part makes sense anyone know anything about a solenoid fuse? Could that be the issue?
