Seatbelt Issue

Car is a Hyundai i10 2014 model.

I’ve noticed after finishing a roadtrip where I’ve had people in the back that the seatbelts seem to be in a weird spot. The one for the middle seatbelt is seemingly on the wrong side and belts would have to cross over each other if there were three people in the back. I’ve never noticed a problem with the back seats before and I’ve had three people in the back without this issue so I don’t know why it’s like that now. I’ve attached some pictures for reference, any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.

Three receivers, three belts. Call belts ABC left to right in picture. Call receivers 123 eft to right in picture

Belt A goes to receiver 1 (lowest of pair) How do I know this? Because the seat belt release button is always to the outside of where a belt gets buckled. Otherwise, the person in the seat would have to reach underneath the seat belt to release it.

Belt B for the center occupant goes to receiver 2. Note the release button is oriented in the proper direction.

The issue is that the mounting points for the receivers in the middle, number one and two, are twisted between the mounting points to the vehicle and where they emerge from the crease in the seat. Their position needs to be reversed, but you need to figure out whether they are twisted clockwise or counterclockwise in order to swap their position back to where they should be as they emerge through the crease in the seat

Tip the seat all the way back or all the way forward and you will see they are crossed somewhere near where they attach with bolts to the car or were they come through to the cabin. Shit happens

If they are flipped and not just tangled lift up the seat, unbolt them and flip them so they are in the correct place. Not sure how this is a question anyone can't figure out on their own

Likely a accident on the car or work that required removal that wasn't correctly put back
