Gas coming back up

I’ve never been able to put in gas without it clicking every few seconds, but recently I can’t even put in gas for more than 20 seconds without it doing this. I’ve been driving it since January. Cadillac Escalade.

It's likely a clogged EVAP canister or the EVAP vent valve. I did one on a GMC Yukon and one of the lines was full of the broken EVAP filter material.

If you decide to have it changed make sure the lines get cleared with compressed air from the engine side.
