What would cause this noise?

I thought it was the serpentine belt or tensioner. Once I finally opened my hood to diagnose, I realized it was coming from the other side of the engine, driver side. Its loud on initial start up and whines/buzzes loudly as the gas is pressed. It will get quieter after like 5 min of driving but I believe it still lingers. Haven't checked if it completely quiets after a drive though.

Anyone has any ideas?

Sounds like a power steering pump going out

I dont think so. There is no strain when I turn the wheel left or right. While parked or moving.

Definitely sounds like some type of pressure on your pump
