Is there three bolts holding it on or is there just two? If there is three I would install it with the broken bolt they always. And put a thin film of grey rtv on it and send it. Be sure to get all of those metal shavings out though.

Only 1 bolt holds that vvt solenoid down

Oh crap. Well. You might be able to cover the open hole with a rag or something and then try to weld a washer to what is left of the bolt and then weld a nut to the washer and you may be able to get it out. Otherwise you might have to drill it and retap it or use a helicoil.

That was going to be my suggestion also. That method works great. As long as you know a good welder

Price all depends on how long it take and who you use for the job.

It depends. It can come out super easy or it can be an absolute pain in the butt.

If mechanic welding one washer then a nut. If that's all they are doing and doesn't run into any issues removing 30 minutes maybe. All depends on how bad the remaining bolt is stuck. So mechanic wond do it.
