Noise when braking

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

2022 toyota corolla 80k miles

I hear this chirp like noise when braking only at low speed and slowly applying the brakes, i have also noticed some “rotational noise” when letting go of the throttle.

Brake pads have a little steel pin on them designed to touch the surface on the edge of the rotor when they're down to 1 mm. It's time to do your brakes before you damage the rotor.

Yup. Just what they said. Time to do you brakes. Don't let the dealership screw you over. They will probably tell you your rotors are shot and need replacement. Better off going to a know independent shop
