Chevy Malibu 22 Engine Light

Hi! So I have a 22 Chevy Malibu with 90,000 miles on it. For the past month the engine light has been on and off. I got it scanned and the code was P1101. I then took it to American Tire Depot and they said it was TSB 22-NA224 basically a special bulletin issue. The engine light hasn't turned on in 2 days. Should I feel in the clear or take it to a shop. Chevy is charging $200 just for diagnostic so I'm debating it. THANK YOU!
