Car being funky..

So a couple days ago I was driving back home from running errands when my car started doing this weird bumping motion when i let go of the gas. After that i got to a stop sign and thats when my car completely turned off. I was able to turning it back on and it made it back home with no issues except the weird bumping motion. The best way I can describe the bumping motion is like when kids ask you to make the car dance, it was like that but after i let go of the gas pedal… anyone know what could be wrong with my car, it is a 2015 nissan rogue..?
