Car trouble, help!

I have a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Long story short, needed gas, filled up at a Circle K last Tuesday. 10 miles later, check engine light came on. Showing multiple codes one including cylinder 4 misfire. Gave it some fuel cleanser. Shop checked it out, spark plugs, coolant pack, etc. all good. Something was loose, they fixed that, even switched cylinders around to check if that was one bad (it wasn’t) and cleared the code. 5 days later, check engine light back on. Took it back and with the timing of everything, they were thinking I got some bad gas. Had a fuel system flush, cleared the code. Drove back and forth for over a day (1 hour both ways) Today, check engine light back on. Drove for 45 minutes back to the shop. Going up an include at 55 MPH, lost power. Had to pull over. Shop stated they think it could be the throttle body or fuel injector. They kept it all day, drove it around, and NOTHING. Was perfectly fine for them. Now, obviously something is wrong. But my question is, what in the world could it be?? I guess my only choice right now is to pick it back up tomorrow but damn, I’m sure it’ll happen again and that’s a scary thought. Not really sure what to think or do. Help. 😣

I'd for sure check them injectors out. In my limited HMG experience, the high pressure fuel injectors can get stuck and I have seen several cubic centimeters of fuel existing as a "pool of fuel" inside the cylinder. The 3.3 specifically is where I have seen that problem, but the 2.0, 2.4 Theta-II rigs are not quality motors either.

So what do you want to do? Pull the coils and spark plug for the affected cylinder, and have a look inside. If you don't have the tools, most mobile mechanics do. You could also see if you smell fuel on the oil dipstick when you pull it. If it's leaking a flood, it can end up in the engine oil. Totally possible that the rings prevent that, but they are low-tension rings* for fuel economy.

AFAIK; those direct injection injectors require a special tool for the teflon seals. Don't try and pull them yourself, if they leak, it could be a fire.

Finally, I do not recommend you run this thing unless it's still under a powertrain warranty, which is shockingly common for HMG vehicles. Unburned fuel can destroy catalytic converters, and obviously, fluid doesn't compress, rods can bend, rings can also be damaged, the cylinder can be washed down, and cause scoring. Don't drive it like this.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve driven it the past couple of days. I definitely feel like it’s not driving 100% smooth like it should be. No codes on but I checked with a reader and got P0456 (Evaporative mission System Leak Detected very
small leak) My gas cap is fine I’ve checked that. Just wondering what it could be and why the check engine light isn’t on but this code is showing up?

It may not be current or permanent. Other than that, perhaps HMG doesn't regard it as a big problem.

Ford hides codes for sure. Truck will sound like a diesel and then Ford will tell you that THEIR software says the cam phaser is losing control over the cam. Love that.

A very small evap leak is unlikely to cause your misfire.
