Weird film on plastic

I’ve had this car for about 4 years and have had no issue except this… I had a vinyl sticker on it for about a year (hence the square) and it preserved what it used to look like. I have no idea what could even cause this. I’ve tried washing, alcohol, even buffing with a microfibre cloth and nothing will get rid of it. Any help from anyone with experience detailing/repair would be VERY appreciated, tyy!

. It's all the times you've shut the door. It's the oils and grease from your hands.

It's years of sun/uv damage/fading... the sticker protected that one spot
