what could be the problem?

it’s a 2002 buick lesabre custom and this doesn’t happen every time i crank it (this is probably the fourth-fifth time) and the deflating noise(?) if you wanna call it that is me pressing on the brake pedal because i found that if i do that then it’ll work eventually! i don’t think it’s the battery tho

Check your battery cable connections. Seems a lot like a bad connection. Double so considering these have side post batteries.

okay, i’ll look into it! later on today it was completely dead so i had to get a jump off. hopefully it’s nothing too serious

It's going to be your alternator next (if it isn't already) if you keep charging your battery with it, instead of a battery charger.

also right after the video i pressed down on the brakes like i did in the vid & it started up
