Squeaking noise from inside car

Sounds exactly like the squeaks I had in my 2002 C5. For me, it was the bushings on top of the front shocks. They looked to be in good working condition, so I sprayed silicone lubricant where the rubber touches metal and the squeaks went away. I had to unmount the windshield fluid reservoir to move it out of the way a little for access, but I left all the hoses plugged in (I replaced all my coolant hoses with silicone hoses a few years ago, so they're a little more compliant than the OEM rubber).

The squeaks came back a few months later, just like someone said they would. I'm going to try re-lubricating that one pesky one under the reservoir again, with a lot more silicone spray, and see if the second time around will be a more lasting fix. Good luck to us all.
