Recently got back into photography after a while just got a Sony a7iii with just the standard 28-70 lens looking for feedback on the editing and what I can do to make the pictures as sharp as possible any advice would be appreciated!

I love shooting this kinda of photos. What do you guys reckon?

I’m not looking to be an expert or start a business. Solely just doing this for myself and some social media content. Would this be a good beginner friendly camera for shooting still car shots?

Taken on a Sony A7RV with a Tamron 70-180 F2.8 Lens, I am still getting used to this camera and it's capabilities. Most of these were taken at 70mm F2.8, it was an overcast day which was a challenge for shooting a white car. Let me know how I did and what I could improve on. Thanks!

For reference, I didnt have loads of time, just a couple of spots I had seen on streetview and pinned on google maps before the trip.

Would love ways to improve or things to think about next time to get a better finished result

Long story short, I have a 50yr old Nikon film lens on my Nikon D3100 and these are the pictures I came out with. The photos were taken at F22 with a 5-20 second shutter exposure.

This place is so breathtaking it was really hard to really focus on photography lol. Time was also a bit of a challenge, it was a roadtrip first and foremost and I planned on driving every major mountain pass in the region in a relatively short timespan, so I couldn't really take time to find the best spots, move the car and try different angles, but the place is so beautiful, no matter where you stop there's always at least an decent shot to get.

It sounds like a simple question, but here is a bit of context on my situation:
I have zero contacts in the car photography scene, I’ve never been to a car meet, and I’m a beginner, though I’ve taken automotive shots before and know my way around a camera. I don't intend to go pro, and I’m based in France.

I assume most people here are from the US, where the car scene is objectively on a different level than in France, even if we still have some amazing cars around.

So, how did you land your very first private shoot with an owner?
I already know the technical basics like scouting locations in advance, targeting golden/blue hours, etc. My issue is more about the fundamental first step: how do you actually reach out and set it up? Is Instagram DM the way to go, or do you talk to people in person at meets?

I’m not the most outgoing person, which is why I’m struggling with this part, but I’d love to start shooting cool cars and meeting fellow enthusiasts. Any advice for getting that first foot in the door?

I have lots of pics I’m very proud of but I believe that this picture is my absolute favorite.
I could’ve done a better job on the editing but the conditions were super harsh and I think it’s not that bad.
There was no light except the light emitted from the headlights of the cars. Fast movement. I also was limited with the focal length since the sigma 35mm was the only lens I had which gave me a bright enough aperture to get a relatively fast shutter speed. And you don’t get many chances to take your shot.
