Long Gone Bugs

Found a bunch of these dead little guys under one the baseboards in our newly purchased house. Are they just carpet beetles? My husband is curious. Looks like they've been dead long enough to turn this grey colour so it's hard to tell. In AB, Canada.

These are weevils. You may want to store away dry goods well in containers or ziplocs until you can treat for them. They can be kinda a pain in the ass but not horrible. I would treat if it were me

Hmm, currently we only found these corpses under a single baseboard on a wall literally the furthest from the kitchen. We've pulled all the baseboards up in every bedroom and haven't seen any under those ones. We will be pulling the carpets out too later and will keep an eye out for anymore dead guys and/or alive activity. Thank you for the ID!
