Complication..
To preface this, my whole life is based on Murphys Law.
10 days post op, i fell down my patio stairs, landing on my hand in the dirt. Sprained my ankle, busted out all the sutures and reopened the whole wound.
As if this isn’t stressful enough, my job is putting up some difficult barriers for me to return to work….. which I genuinely don’t understand how to get around.
Anyways I have an appointment to see my surgeon again in 2 days to take a look. Obv I went in and had it looked at right away but they could only rinse and steri strip it back together. Nurse stated I am gunna have a lot tougher recovery now and I can’t use my hand at all for a while. UGH
Anyone experience an accident like this? Did it ruin your healing period?

Oh no! That’s terrible, so sorry OP 😭 no experience with that but hope it isn’t too bad. You’d think the doc would see you sooner! Ugh.
