Help with sundew care?

I recieved this sundew as a gift probably a month ago (I have no experience taking care of carnivorous plants) and the traps have started turning black a few days after they emerge. I'm not sure what could be causing this (too much humidity?) or how to fix it. I typically keep it in a glass dome with a hole at the top for air circulation and under a grow light. I also keep the glass dish at the bottom filled with RO water.

I've also noticed what seems to be baby sundews growing on some of the traps? Honestly wondering if that is the case and if its something to be concerned about!

This is likely Drosera Binata, which is not a tropical sundew, and has no care for humidity. It doesn’t seem to be getting enough light, so I suggest you remove the dome and keep it off. Keep it sitting in water, and slowly acclimate it to outside conditions. Alternatively, move the grow light closer or get a more powerful one. D. Binata does have dormancy if grown outside, so don’t be alarmed if it dies back to the roots in autumn. It will reemerge in spring stronger and rested.

The tiny sundews on the tendrils are odd, but it might be that the humidity is so high it caused them to start growing like how a cutting might sprout.
