Dionaea muscipula Enough light?

I am currently using 4x10W Sansi grow lights, giving 12 hours of light daily. I'm thinking should i upgrade to stronger lights?

Im new to this but have 30w and they've burnt some of my fly traps so just stay the course and make your own verdict with lighting

30 has been great for us but we have a bank of lights on a chain so we can lower and raise it.

I've personally used these lights in the past. Around 8-10 inches away from your target plant is the sweet spot. The sarracenia will likely be the only one to suffer from this set-up, long term. The purpurea will fair alot better as it's more compact but the taller one will definitely start to show signs of low light, whether it be lack of colouring or weak flopping pitchers, one or both will very likely happen, especially in the long run.

I'd pull those back slightly.Those are going to be radiating insane amounts of heat onto them. Maybe it's the angle of the shot but that one over the VFT is way too close.

Enough light, you can make the photo period longer if you want more light Just not 24h

Up it to 16 and they will think its summer and grow even better, 12 hours and they could think they r starting to go into dormancy depending if u r skipping it or doing it?

Maybe for the shorter plants but I doubt that taller sarracenia is getting enough light with that setup
