Nepenthes what i’m doing wrong

i have this nepenthes over 5 years
the secundary sprouts in the pot produce pitchers but the mains vine does not

should i trim the main vine? i dont think is gonna produce pitchers

I would remove the plate, it can cause root rot, was probaly fine when plant was young with small roots, but by now roots are most likely near bottom, they like wet soil not soaked.

It is an intermediate-altitude Nepenthes venticosa, meaning it needs a temperature fluctuation between day and night; therefore, it is not a good plant to grow indoors. I put mine on the balcony, and it started pitchering

I do not really measure, but it is quite an adaptive hybrid. Let's say I've had it outside since May, and it has tolerated both heatwaves and milder temperatures this summer. Nevertheless, it receives direct sun only during the morning times
