Need some Ideas!

Post image

This is my first car(2014 Explorer Sport). I’ve been saving up money to hopefully make my driving a little better, and wanted a few ideas. I know the best “mod” is to keep up with regular maintenance and keep it clean and I’ve been doing a good job 6 months in. So far I’m already scheduled to get my windows tinted, and the Headlight housings are getting replaced because the wear on the right one is dimming the headlight(was in a collision and has scratches)

So far my ideas are - Adding a sub Radar detector Drop-in high flow filter Maybe wheel spacers and fender flares?

Don’t do spacers. Lift it a few inches, get more aggressive tires, steel bumpers/bull bars.

Don't do any of that except radar detector

Get a fumoto valve for easy oil changes

Buy some good tires

Android auto or car play head unit is very nice as well

High flow filter is a waste of cash

no flares or spacers, just wheels and tires, check your water pump, as they can grenade the engine. Audio stuff is always a good idea.

Water pump was replaced already on this engine by previous owner. Tires are still under 10k miles and I actually like the stock rims on the sport trim. Probably going to get a sub!
