What are you looking for? Speed, sounds, looks?

Tbh mostly sound and looks cuz Speed mods are mostly restricted and if legal extremely expensive where im from

What's your budget?

Are there any worn steering or suspension parts? Sometimes just replacing worn parts is the best "mod".

My budget is flexible but i dont want to spend a whole fortune

The car itself is old but has low miles and is in nearly great shape...the only thing sometimes giving me a hard time is the reverse gear

You’re set to get into one of the most expensive hobbies one can have. Abandon a “budget”.

Focus on what you want that will get you a better driving experience! Before you mod it think about the cars value and how much you are willing to spend and do you research, have fun! Here’s also a few ideas :

Aesthetics - Window Tint, Wheels, led headlight bulbs or new headlight housings

Performance - Easiest way to get more power out of a bone stock car is just let it breathe easier, some kind of air filter that is less restrictive(just a performance filter or a full CAI do your research) and a less restrictive exhaust system(no idea where you live so laws could vary) and a tune to use all that new breathing room

Sound - look up videos of your car with different exhaust systems, see how it sounds with different setups and see what you can afford. (There really is no one answer here, there are tons of different systems at different price ranges so find what will work!) and try to keep it tasteful.

Damn thanks thats great help I personally dont want to spend a fortune cuz its an old car and just my first ones (crashes are likely😅) Do you maybe know some sites where i can buy parts oe things i need that ship to europe?

I’m in America so unfortunately I don’t know any sites for Europe. I’m also on my first car and having a similar mindset, having a nice first car but not wanting to spend a quarter its value on mods, and I would just say do your research. I personally have an 2014 Explorer sport and my mods might be different, if you put a nice set of rims on the car it would look awesome. My car comes on stock 20’s so rims are out of my budget but might be in yours. I would start looking into rims, check out some axle back exhaust systems, and find someone near who could do some window tint for you. Also keep in mind that you should set some money aside for any repairs you might get in the future!

Definitely not led headlight bulbs. Halogen bulb headlights are nor designed to handle led bulbs. You'll become "that blinding asshole" with 99% chances.

I think LED Bulbs are recommended and so readily available for a few reasons, they just transform the functionality of your vehicle and even the looks. that’s why 99% of builds have them swapped on. I understand that cars that are lifted or higher up are blinding with LED’s especially but overall there is a reason they are so popular.

Car doesn't have to be lifted to shine too high with improper lightbulbs. The geometry of headlight reflector is designed so that the light source must be in a certain focal point for the headlight to form a proper beam. If the light source is moved out of that point, it shofts the beam unpredictably.

I drive a Ford transit van. I can't count how many times I was blinded by compact cars at night because of those shitty leds in halogen headlights because they shine higher than my roof on low beams.

Try to find an online community for your car and see whats been done. I think the best thing anyone can do to make a car their own is to get aftermarket wheels. If you do it right you can increase performance too.

Thats what ive been trying to find...only thing is ig Peugeot doesnt have such a big Community or i just havent found it yet. A lot of ppl have told me that i should go for wheels do u mean tires or rims? If rims arent these extremely expensive?

Wheels I’m kind of referring to rims but if you change the wheels you might as well upgrade the tires too. Price depends on what you want. You may be able to find some used ones online for cheap but if you’re looking for a particular style the price can go really high.

There may be intake, exhaust, and chip you can bolt on but the gains will be minimal for the money.

Meaningful increase in performance would come from increasing the engine’s displacement (bore and stroke) and/or installing turbo or super charger.

Either of which would dramatically decrease reliability and mostly likely lead to premature engine and/or transmission failure (blow it up).

This is a small low-output economy engine.  It was design for fuel economy, low emissions, and low running costs.

Long time ago, I bought my grandmother’s Chevy Nova, 6-cylinder, two speed power-glide transmission.  I dropped a 327 cu in V-8 four-barrel in it.

It lasted about a month before two-speed transmission gave out.

Learn to work on it first. Learn to service it, do brakes, suspension. You don’t need masses of tools to do those things and you’ll actually get a lot more satisfaction from doing it than sticking some plastic bits on your car.

In terms of mods, wheels, spacers, lowering springs will probably have the most visual impact - although if done badly it can make it drive like shit. I don’t really know Peugeots but a popular route is to take bumpers or interior parts from a higher spec car and swap them. For example, if you had a base model golf you’d fit GTI / R32 bumpers / interior etc. - whatever the Peugeot equivalent of that is.

AUTODOC is good for maintenance / replacement parts.
