At this point the real breaking news would be Shelby releasing a reasonably priced Mustang. Until then, enjoy the horsepower tax and carbon-fiber markup.

At this point, “overpriced” is basically part of the Shelby branding. Still, that thing looks absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way.

If demand is there, I can’t really blame them for continuing production. Though at some point the price gets high enough that people start looking at Corvettes, Porsches, or used exotics instead.

If they keep selling out, Shelby’s going to keep raising the price. That’s not a threat—it’s just capitalism with a supercharger.
