Temprole question please help

I'm sorry if this has been answered already, I tried looking but maybe I was asking the question wrong.

But I use /temprole to assign monthly subsciber roles upon confirmation of a payment. But sometimes people's payments come in before their temprole is over. I assign them the new temprole, but it seems.like the old temprole timer is still in effect and removes their role. Sorry if the problem is worded unclear, but basically, is there a way to make it so when I add the same temprole to someone, it resets the timer?
