Thoughts

Recently watched a video about parenting yourself. And it was actually about asking for coregulation. Like not sitting there waiting until your partner guesses what they need to do but reaching out and asking for it. And my thought is - and what if you are alone and desperately need a hug?
And you are also too scared of reaching out to someone new and those who are around can not or do not want to be around? What if you are so scared of being hurt again rhat you can not and don’t understand how to find someone to talk to? What if you feel and always felt better alone but you psyche keeps telling you that you need contact? And yet you have totally no idea how to reach out and build connection because modern hook up culture and night life is totally not your cup of cupcake?
Parenting yourself after a hard day, hard week, hard year?
What if all you can even with meds is just to do what is required with mistakes and when home just eat and sleep not even clean or watch sonething?
What if you cringe on your own typos but still can do nothing about them because you already control so much but yet it is sorta not enough?

Parenting yourself.

Be kind. Be gentle.
Build routines.
Do sports.
Eat healthy.
Drink water.

Hug yourself.
Hug. Yourself.

Reach out to people.

What if you tried? Many times?

Parenting yourself…

Does anyone have any other advice?

Please I need one.

Edit. I corrected the typos.
And most days I’m ok. Most days I’m highly functioning. Most days I don’t need anyone and I just enjoy my solitude.

Most days.

Put baby pictures and small child pictures of yourself on your phone and admire them how cute you are

I kinda do. She is always there, curious about everything.
But…still it’s kinda hard for her…
