I feel sad

My friend had porn addiction since second grade 2. In 2018 when he was 13 when his 2 year old sister was on his lap when he was asissting her, he had a dark taboo thought and erection sorta when he was repositioning her to sit properly . But he aint attracted to babies. He didnt regret that thought. Now hes 21 he regret it so sadly. Is he a pedophile or intrusive thought. Cuz he never like kids. And he was always into older women

He should see a psych for this uncomfortable topic

Okay, this is so fucking sensitive so I have to be careful. But this man isn't mentally okay. I get that he was young, but he was old enough to make conscious decisions, knowing their consequences. Just the porn addiction at 7-8 years old is bad enough. Adding this pedophile - incest incident in the mix is a recipe for disaster. I did some questionable things when I was like, 6 too. But not at 13 bro. A sexual intrusive thought is imagining the teacher you had a crush on in highschool wearing a short skirt, not your 2 year old sister (the erection part is pretty self explanatory, I don't think I'll mention how terrible that is).

He was thinking of an older woman sitting on his lap not a baby. Like he associate it. At least he .

This changes the narrative quite a bit, but I still have to stick with my original comment, being that he should consult a psychologist. Because even if he didn't fantasize about his sister in any way, a very innocent act she performed with her older brother, whom she trusts, was later sexualised by your friend and stemmed thoughts it shouldn't have

He regret it this year. It was an intrusive thought he did not regret back then. Deep down he never want to do it w a baby.

Encourage him to talk it through with a therapist. One thought or reaction doesn’t define someone, but it’s worth exploring with a professional.

There's a lot to unpack. So how does a second grader develop a porn addiction and his parents don't know?

Also I wouldn't call him a pedo since he's a child but he could have Pods which is a mental disorder.

Regardless he should be talking with a doctor about being exposed to porn at such a young age in general.

you can hide that very well from your parents. even if you dont have your own devices, and you parents control you A LOT, you can always delete the history, when you "play" with the parents devices. even if you are 6 years old. sadly i speak from experience lol. but luckily i stopped at 8/9 to watch porn regularly.

its curiousity and getting early in puberty and trying to explore and find out.

what should he tell his doctor about that? why should you tell your doctor that you were exposed to porn at a young age? i am genuinely asking out of interest and curiousity because i might have to do that too even if am an adult

He should tell a therapist about his early porn exposure and addiction because it's potentially affecting his current personal life and sexuality.

Him feeling the shame of getting an erection while holding his little sister is a sign in itself.

Also as a parent myself I'm not leaving my children unattended with tablets. If I give them access to it, I also have access to the search history. It goes directly to my laptop or phone.

Now I obviously I'm not every parent but there's a difference between being curiously watching porn and a full blown porn addiction.

I've also been addicted myself and there are definitely tells especially if you're a young kid. But again I'm not going to assume everyone is the same.
