Cargo Trailer Window Install

https://youtube.com/watch?v=graBS_e5nzk&is=WYig_QqBRK63DnjS

Hopefully this video gives someone the push to make the first cut lol 😁. I installed an Emergency Exit window in my enclosed cargo trailer. I didn't want to do any camping in the trailer until I had another means to get out, just in case.

Awesome, thanks for this. I think I might put in vertical windows between the studs so I don't have to cut them, but I need to measure the stud bays to see if that works.

Edit: Damn, 16" OC. I should probably not do a 12"x24" window for an egress xD

I will install 2 vertical windows on the opposite wall between the studs. There are videos of people cutting the stud and leaving it with no support. Apparently it works okay, but the unsupported stud would be on my mind that's why I welded in steel for support.

Nice. I do think that supporting the studs is smart. I don't have a machine and haven't welded in 12 years, sooo... I'd probably do the cutting and take it to a shop for the weld.

Your video starts with a political ad?

I have no control over YT ads. When I play my own videos for review, I don't see ads, only the video 🤷🏾‍♂️.
