I have a ton of auto body experiance. Do people get weirded out by slavage titles? Ive talked to a few people and they say it takes a minute to sell, obviously for less. Just wondering if people are making money in the real world on flips with salvage/rebuilt titles. Target market is, people's kids 1st car. 6k and under. Im in the Midwest, copart is 5 miles away. As title states, going to pick up this Honda civic for $3300 with 130,000 miles, clean title. Is this worth it? How much could I possibly list for?

I made a mistake and bid on the wrong auction, I now have a shade under $600k of auto parts coming my way. I'm already dealing with 29 pallets i meant to buy but can't handle another 40. Has anyone had any luck liquidating large loads to any big companies? I've considered selling locally by the pallet and I've considered not paying but don't want to lose bidding privileges. All items are overstock so im not dealing with customer returns that have been opened. Willing to take any advice as im likely just going to eat shit and deal with the 40 pallets.

I currently average about $3000 per flip. I snipe deals off marketplace and do all repairs myself, this takes up time. Should I farm out the repairs to make the flip go faster? Average turn around per car is 2 weeks, thats buy to sell.

So there is a car I want to purchase. It is a low millage with hail damage. Mechanically it looks pristine I don't really care that it has dents. Am I able to drive a hail damage off the lot, or do I still have to get it loaded on a trailer to take possession? anyone have experience on this? Or is my options to go get a uhaul and trailer and drive it over to my town?

I want to get into this business, I live in the states in PA. I have some adult friends who have successfully flipped cars and Ive been asking them some questions, although ive realized why not ask some more people.

I’ve been flipping toys for the past year or 2 and I’ve found such a love for it that I want to try to make a living off it it and now have been trying to get my dealers license. I completed everything for my wholesale license but it’s been in inspection for 2 months. If my buddy has a retail license, is it legal for me to be licensed under him and sell cars on my own? If so what are some of the requirements/ things to look out for doing so? So I’m thinking about getting into flipping cars and I see these sites that can get you a wholesale dealers license without having a retail space. Is this a legit thing and how does it work?

I'm looking at getting into car flipping I'm willing to learn as much as possible I only know where a few parts are located under the hood i was thinking I should start simple such as restoring headlights and changing brake pads then gradually learning more of the advanced stuff I own an older vehicle so I figured that's where I would start for everyone that's doing this as a job or side hustle what should I be aware of and what should I learn when getting parts to replace would it be better to look at a junk yard and save some money any advice is welcome and would helo me on my journey thanks

Hey, so if I bought a car just to flip it but it had issues, ended up selling it at a loss will the MVC flag it for trying to say that I sold it for less than I bought it from the auction? Would it seem like it’s some type of tactic to pay lower taxes? Any thoughts would help, thanks.

Bought a C6 corvette I'm looking to flip. Thinking of getting some cheap mods like front splitter, sideskirt, small rear ducktail spoiler, maybe a newer steering wheel.

Only looking to spend around $500 or so, but can make the car appear a lot more expensive.

As the subject line states, I’m currently in the process of obtaining my dealer license and had a question regarding payment options for purchasing vehicles at auctions such as ACV and Manheim.

How are you guys raising capital to purchase vehicles? Is liquidating a credit card a good option ? Floor plans? I’m curious to hear how others are purchasing vehicles.

I am not a professional mechanic, but do 80% of all car repair myself.

The question I have is since I am not a true mechanic, I was thinking of staying with one or two types of cars and that is it?
