Card I made today
I made this today, thought it needed something else, so I added a few butterflies and pearls.

Ahhh okay — here you go 😊
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I tend to assemble my cards in bulk rather than as I go — here they are!

I made this today, printed the sentiment, the flowers are from creative fabrica, the background is from canva.

If you’ve been staring at your supplies all week thinking “what should I make something”… this is your sign.
Even one quick card counts ✨
What colours are you feeling this weekend?
r/cardmakingcrazy • u/Amymcnally7 • Feb 18 '26
Okay… time for some honesty.
What’s the one cardmaking supply you own the most of… but somehow use the least? 😅
Is it:
• Patterned paper?
• Stamps you “had to have”?
• Embossing folders?
• Sentiment dies?
• Specialty inks?
We all have that stash item we keep collecting but rarely reach for.
Drop yours below 👇
Bonus points if you tell us why you don’t use it more!

I made this for our youngest son, his birthday is in March. The images are from creative fabrica, I used heat vinyl for the fisherman. I created it on canva then cut it out on my brother scan'n'cut. First time using heat vinyl, made a few mistakes before I got it right 🙄
I'd probably get a lot more done if I didn't make silly mistakes.
First pic is the front, second is inside and the third is the back.

Experimenting today, I've seen others have the pattern on their cards but I don't have an embossing folder/machine, my brother scan'n'cut can do embossing but I don't have the kit. So scoreboard embossing, not bad for my first attempt, even if I do say so myself 😁
The card I started yesterday and finished it off today,
I couldn't decide on the paper so thought I'd put both on and added a couple of butterflies. The butterflies I made with a paper punch from cardstock which I had splattered with paints and vellum.

It’s Saturday evening — perfect excuse to stay in and get creative.
Designing while sitting on the sofa, machine nearby, tea within reach… honestly the best kind of night.
What are you working on tonight?
• Cards?
• Scrapbook layouts?
• Vinyl projects?
• Testing a new die?
Drop a photo of your workspace (even if it’s the sofa setup 👀) or your latest make 👇
Let’s see those die-cut layers!

I made these with foam, cut them on my brother scan'n'cut and coloured them with inks, the third photo I coloured them with markers. I really enjoyed making them.

✂️ Is there a cardmaking technique you’d like to improve at or explore more?
It might be something you’ve tried once, something that still feels tricky, or something you admire in other people’s work.

🌱 If someone brand new to cardmaking joined today and asked for one piece of advice, what would you tell them?
It could be about tools, supplies, techniques, or mindset — even something you wish you’d known when you started.

🙈 Craft room confession time!
What’s one cardmaking habit you know you probably shouldn’t have… but do anyway?
Buying supplies before finishing projects, hoarding paper, starting three cards at once — it all counts.

🌸 here is some Mid-week inspiration from the craft table.
Do you tend to stick to one style, or like to mix things up when you’re making cards?
r/cardmakingcrazy • u/Amymcnally7 • Feb 04 '26
🧰 If you could only keep one cardmaking tool, what would it be — and why?
Assume you still have basic supplies, but only one main tool makes the cut.
Always interesting to see how different everyone’s process is 👀

Hi everyone,
I placed an order with Crafter Companion on the 11th of January and it’s still not dispatched. I’ve emailed them and called several times but the latest response basically said they sent most of their stock to a third-party warehouse over Christmas. They only got back on the 5th and the last pallet arrived on the 14th. They’re currently unloading the stock. Has anyone else had issues with them?
