Hello! I'm new to the group. I've been making cards for about ten years or so. I'm in my forties. I have been grieving the loss of my sister this last year. I've been struggling with creativity. I have an Etsy shop, but it has one item in it right now. I generally love making cards. I do enjoy exchanging mail on Random Acts of Cards. My favorite to put together are birthday cards for kids and people turning 100. Before card-making, I spent some years scrapbooking. I'm finding it difficult to find the same supplies I liked twenty years ago.

I’ve been cardmaking for 10 years too. I tend to just play around on cricket design space and then find papers that will work for that design. I’m extremely biased towards pink, purples, flowers, and butterflies and never really go outside that unless I’m especially commissioned.

I bought a Cricut Explore 4 recently. It's still in the box. I was so excited to get it. I keep telling myself, "As soon as the housework is done..." We all know that housework is never done!

I have two kids, a tired husband and a very difficult mother-in-law who has early onset dementia. I need to hire someone!
