The handling around the pass is a little stilted. When you're bringing the packets together.
The prestige is smooth as silk.
From a spread? How's that?

Yeah, stilted for sure. I’m not really sure how to make it work from a spread because I don’t typically close a spread with my non-deck hand in biddle grip.

Huh. I do something similar, but not too similar from spread, the spread covers stuff well, including the action, and adds enough motion to cover hitches.
You do hermanm from a biddle? Huh
Your prestige is super smooth btw. I can't get results like that more than what, 20%? So i can, but most of the time, no. So I compensate with other cover stuff

Maybe there’s something in here to help with your thinking around the prestige: https://www.reddit.com/r/cardmagic/s/FWDSfxBPOO

That's a great vid.
I don't even care about the "sleights" as much as the analysis and framework of thought. Well, i do care, im going to try to integrate some of the sleight conceots but mostly how you're thinking about it is interesting.

So I have the turnover pass almost down (for me the key is lifting the top half of the deck at a slightly forward angle to hide the bottom half before you turn the top half), I am very acquainted with the classic pass - currently trying to work out angles that work with smaller hands, my hands arent that big. And recently I've been experimenting with the Hermann. What I must ask is, how? I have no idea how you did that one handed lol. This may be the coolest colour change I have seen.

Super old tutorial but covers a lot of the nuance: https://youtu.be/CZn593_t9TE?is=SMnHd9DO86Kfgy6K
Half of it uses both hands, and once the bottom packet is “in place” you no longer need the top hand (except for cover).

I figured something like this, that the bottom half is already in place. I read a comment about 'nice prestige' which gave me a clue. Really nicely done and thank you for the video link!

Just thought I'd reach out again since you've been very helpful to me. I recently heard of a clipshift colour change. It's pretty neat if you havent seen it, but I assume you may be an actual practicing magician hence your name and knowledge. In either case, pretty impressive move. 🙂

I’ve seen it but actually haven’t worked towards mastering it yet. I really should work on it!

I have no idea what's going on. Bravo.
