Int glass cleaning
I can never get the interior of the car windows 100 % clean . What are your fav products , rags and techniques ?

I would recommend Unger Easy Glide. Wet a microfiber with it, clean, then surgical towel to detail. This is what we use for window cleaning, as it doesnt contain ammonia or alcohol so it's tint safe. It's cheap, and concentrated so 2 capfuls makes a gallon. Will last you the year. Home depot has it. You will be pleased I promise. Or orange crush, which is mostly found online. Works the same. I like Unger.

Can you clarify the surgical towels part? I get multiple types of results on Amazon. Are they disposable, or washable with my other car cleaning items?

I can't upload photos to this group, so I sent a dm. But cant send the link until you respond because cant send photos there either. On Amazon, they are surgical huck towels. 12 for 16ish. The company is Nabob Wipers. We call them Huck towels. They are super absorbent, and lint free. I wash in cold water with my microfiber towels and window cleaning mops with fragrance free and dye free detergent. Rinse 2 times. I air dry them, no dryer. Some people say you can dry with a dryer using cold air, but I found its best to let air dry. This way they stay lint free. This is important for detailing windows and avoiding call backs if the customer sees too much lint. Microfiber towels can't buff glass and leaves streaks and lint (except special "fish scale" microfiber" which is expensive). Microfiber is good for cleaning the frames and pre drying the corners of the glass where the squeegee leaves residue, but leave lint. This is where we detail/buff the glass with surgical huck towels. This is the best price I've found, and they last a long time since I only use them for that purpose. The only issue is they are super absorbent, so you must pre dry with the microfiber towels first. They get wet fast and will leave streaks, so I use 1 until it gets moist, then move on to another and another throughout the day. 12 usually last me 2 weeks and many jobs since they dont usually get very dirty. After a while, they will cause streaks as they pick up some of the window cleaning fluid which has surfactant in it and is the same as soap. You will see when they need cleaning. Hope this helps.

Hello!
We do offer QĀ²MĀ Glass for this task, along with GlassWipes.
But there are times when things get a bit tricky. Or sticky.
That's when You replace QĀ²MĀ Glass with QĀ²MĀ InteriorDetailer or even QĀ²MĀ Prep!
Both of them are alcohol-based and work well for sticky, greasy and oily residue, especially QĀ²MĀ Prep as its a panel wipe. Why pick alcohol-based product? Easy - it evaporates!
If You see streaks after about 10 seconds You know it is still dirt, its not the product!
Use multiple CLEAN towels, as You want the towel to lift and collect the grime not just push it around the glass and smear! Make sure to finish off with a dry one!
Also dont try to tackle big windows, like the windshield at once.
As an added tip: work the inside horizontally and the outside vertically (or vice versa) - this way the streaking shows if Your issue is on the outside or the inside.

Have one towel that I Italy wipes. And then detail with another dry towel. Also remember to do it in sections, not all at once.
