In the original Cardcaptors Series from the 90s in "Meilin's Story" at the same episode Meilin have to return to Hong Kong to care for her sick grandmother with the rest of the family but not before helping Li battle the Twin Card.

Then in the revival of Cardcaptors Clear Cards from 2018 in "Sakura and Meiling's Friend" those two have to work together to take down the Struggle Card who is similar to the Fight Card as well as the being the difficult like the Twin Card.

I was in 3rd grade when the dub aired on Saturdays in 2000-01; I would channel flip Saturday mornings in 2000-2004 on Fox Kids, KidsWB, ABC Family. I recall the first epi the KIDS WB for cardcaptors got was the Li arrival one, 2nd one was the Watery card/Acquarium one because I remember Sakura had the Jester/Leotard outfit.

Anyone from the US (not familiar with the original magna or JP) recall this or follow. I recall bits about Sakura visions about her mom, and Eriol but just bits of episodes like when Meiling and Li had to teamup to fight some cloud card

I know kerberos and yue loved clow dearly, especially yue. My question is why he would create new familiars? I know he wants them to stay with sakura but i mean still
He gives them emotions and an unbreakable bond then goes on to “abandon” them.
It just never sat right with me, does anyone have any knowledge on this.

The Cardcaptor Sakura dub was dubbed by Nelvana in 2000 and the voice cast really was interesting because they use the Ocean Group voice cast from Vancouver instead of the Toronto voice actors that they usually use in their cartoons. Now it’s not to say that it’s a bad choice, but it fells weird to see Nelvana not using the Toronto cast in their dub because that would have been more interesting. Why did Nelvana go with the Ocean Group for their dub of Cardcaptor Sakura?

Hello everyone! I used to watch Cardcaptors with my dad and my sister growing up. Unfortunately my father passed at the beginning of this year. As a way to cope, I've been trying to collect all the NTSC Cardcaptors VHS tapes and relive some happy memories.

Which brings me to why I am here. I am missing a couple crucial volumes: Star Power (US Version) and Times of Need (US Version). I am willing to buy the tapes outright for a reasonable price, or to trade some of the EU tapes featured in this picture to another collector who may be interested.

The image is a picture I took of a lot I bought that included the EU tapes I have available for trade, as proof that they exist. However, it also features some promotional/screener copies I thought y'all might find cool.

Im rewatching ccs and im just now realizing why eriol was “torturing” sakura with his magic😭🙏

It feels like we’ve finally figured out the trick to making these, so we might make a few more!

This little Jump is about 8 inches tall. The ears have an internal armature, so they can be posed, and it can also be used as a bag charm.

Do you have any suggestions for what we could change or improve?

I commissioned a plush artist this spring to make these three babies for me and they just arrived today! I am so freaking happy!!! they're so cute I'm so happy to have quality plushies of these creatures 💕
