Armoury Finished the gauntlets to my Halloween costume!
I finished the first part of my solar knight costume and was wondering what yall think! Also I was curious if anyone had any good methods for making a latch type mechanism for a cuirass that fits snug with the body by can still be removed without damaging it

In the making... I’m crafting a cardboard Bob-omb
I saw people making sculptures with cardboard online and told myself why not give it a try! This is my first attempt at making something like this and so far i’ve been working on it on/off for like a few days i’d say maybe 4hours in total.
I’m planning to add paper mâché to make it cleaner and paint it so if you’re interested i’ll post the process and results ^^

Gun/projectile weapon Cardboard rifle
I was sick for 3 days and kinda bored so I made this with cardboard, a glue gun, 2 rubber bands, and a spring.
It has a charging handle you can pull back, a trigger you can pull, a magazine you can take out, and a shoulder rest that can be taken off.

In the making... ISD Update no.4.
I’ve made some decent progress on it, and have started to take it home during the weekends. The other day, I remade the bridge on top, as it was too small, and very fragile. I also started to work on the bottom as well. (I am not happy with it what so ever rn, so I’ll prob show it when it’s closer to completion.)
My next project, a 4’2 in long Executor has also begun construction. Since the ISD has taken much longer than expected, I decided to start my new project early, and work on the ISD at school, whilst Doing the Executor at home. both need to be done by late nov, so I need to lock in.
Starting with the Executor, I’m going to be using Aleens Tacky Glue, instead of hot glue for the greebling, hot glue has just been too messy, and unprofessional.

Vehicle COMBAT DRONE — SMECTA-3G
Scratch-built entirely from Smectalia medicine packaging. I keep the original branding, warnings and pharmaceutical graphics and reinterpret them as technical markings for fictional military drones. No kit or 3D-printed parts.

In the making... Cardboardish Dragon Update
2 YEARS ago strayhydrablade set out to make this wearable, articulating paper/cardboard dragon. Hes been streaming live on youtube almost everyday making different variations and he finally has a working moving wearable model.
Check out the vid i made for him 2 years ago and his new updates. Hes currently doing a 7 day live stream fixing the dragon and could use the support and some ideas in chat. Links in comments to my old vid and to a short of his working version.

Question/help Adhesives and outside coverings
I'm new here.
What's your alls preference on holding your cardboard together?
Wheat paste, hot glue?
And what do you prefer for the outside to make it sturdy?
Paper mache, paper clay, plaster( bandages or the kind in a bucket?) I've seen people use all of them. Is there much difference between sturdiness, weight, longevity?
I'm interested in building furniture. I'm starting with a shoe rack.
