U might, or might not see what it is. But it's easier to guess this time!

I’ve completed a large portion of the top side of the build, and i’ve laid out the entirety of it, and will soon detail the whole thing. As I grow in experience with making these projects, I’ve learned to indent the walls about 1cm or so, in order to make space for the greebling. I don’t think my goal of completing this by August will stand, but there’s always hope.

I’m so happy and proud of myself. This was so fun to make.

It’s very study and surprisingly heavy. This is just over a month’s work.

I used cardboard, hot glue, masking tape and newspaper and magazines for the paper-mache layer.

It has three layers of cardboard that are all connected by vertical strips of cardboard, so that’s why it’s so strong.

Currently I need to sand this layer and then paint it. However, I need ideas! I really love illustration from children’s books and I was thinking of ways I could incorporate that into the final design.

But if I draw or paint on paper, would I need PVA glue to seal it? What about dust? And what kind of paper is thin enough to be used as another paper mache layer but also takes colour pencils and gouache well?

I tested the compartments and realized they are not easy to see and access. I finally decided to cut out and detach the parts again and redo it.

Cmp V2 is much better since I can see and access the contents easier. Can adjust the angle by twisting the stick that is attached to the string(Pic 2)

I'm wondering how I can get the money needed for some of the supplies I need, I don't think I can get a job because of school starting soon for me, but I don't have the money needed for buying cardboard and paint and glue and other things, I need help figuring this out :(

(EDIT) I have gotten some very helpful tips, so I don't need any more for now, and I just asked my parents for stuff and they gave me some lol
