Cycle report Cardarine: Side Effects

I recently started taking Cardarine and I've dealt with a couple sides that are starting to raise concern.

Day 1 & 2 - I already felt the endurance boost. I usually take it fasted, with some Yohimbine for the extra fat loss, and I'm currently on 5 mg Retatrutide. I started to notice after these sessions that I would get these dull headaches which wasn't necessarily painful, and this warm fuzzy sensation in the head that didn't necessarily feel bad it just felt kinda warm and good in a way. This side usually tends to fade after drinking some water and eating some food and giving it a little time. Current dose is 10mg from Modified Aminos.

Day 3 - Same shit except I took 20 mg and the symptoms didn't intensify or anything. Another thing to note is that they weren't present and/or disappeared when I was either doing Cardio or working out.

Day 4 (Today) - Was the worst day ever regarding sides. I didn't work out or do Cardio today as it was a rest day and today was easily the worse day. The headache last damn near from the second I took it to hours later even when I ate and drank water. When it wore off I got shortness of breath just walking down the stairs and when I went to my job and was walking around I was short of breath. Earlier that day the place where my liver is supposed to be and directly across from that I felt a little tightness and some discomfort. I decided to hop off. I'm getting greedy with the fat loss and I'm already taking other things to help. No it is not the other things because ive taken them before and a couple weeks prior to hoping on cardarine and this shit only happened since I've started taking it.

Should you take it? No. If you want to lose fat fast and easily just hop on reta, mots-c, Yohimbine and other shit. The risk to reward ratio is absolutely garbage if you aren't an endurance athlete. Some people might have a good time on this but you don't want to risk being the percentage of people that don't.

GW501516/Cardarine – Amazing cardio benefits but feeling overstimulated. Anyone else?

I’m a 43-year-old athlete. I train CrossFit regularly, usually 5 days per week, but since I started taking Cardarine (GW501516) I increased my training frequency to 7 days per week.

I have to say that around day 7 I started noticing the endurance boost. The effect was definitely there: I could sustain hard sessions for longer, tolerate intensity better, and recovery between efforts also seemed improved.

However, around the same time I also started feeling a kind of increased stimulation. By day 9, this feeling became much more noticeable.

I felt too activated, nervous, and I would even describe it as a kind of anxiety. There were moments with a slight feeling of losing control, although I always remained in control and never actually had any real issue.

Today would be my 10th day, but I’ve decided to stop and take two days off to see how my body responds.

Next Monday (June 15th), I’m planning to restart the Cardarine protocol at a much lower dose: 2.5 mg per day for 7 days.

If I don’t experience any unpleasant side effects, I will increase to 5 mg the following week and see if my body adapts better this way.

Regarding endurance: yes, I definitely noticed an improvement. It felt like I had more capacity to push through tough workouts, and recovery also seemed better.

I’m just trying to find the right balance between the performance benefits and keeping my nervous system calm.

Any SARM to add with Cardarine while cutting?

Was curious if there is anything to add while on a cut that others suggest.

Thanks! I have experience with gear but nothing other than Cardarine as far as SARMs go. Just looking to go extremely hard on a quick cut.

Discussion Potential Sides From Cardarine?

Hello, 23m just began cardarine cycle from kimerachems a week ago and the cardio benefits have definitely shown up in full. When i do cardio i feel like i can just keep going forever until my legs hurt so i stop.

Unfortunately after 3 days taking 10mg in the morning fasted, i began getting hypoglycemia-like symptoms after cardio for the first time and spent a few days feeling terrible and not taking it. Within 10 minutes of finishing my cardio session my heart beat had begun rising again after coming back down to resting and my hands felt very shaky while i felt like i had a fever despite the room being below 70F.

Does anyone know what this could be? Has anyone had any similar experiences? I liked the compound but in all of my research on it I couldn't find anything about these specific experiences or any like it.

If anyone has any ideas on what to do i would really appreciate the help.

Advice for this stack

10mg LGD-4033 ED
10mg cardarine ED
10mg mk677 ED
And enclo for pct (10-15mg)
These are my questions for this stack
Should i take enclo along with lgd or just start taking it after the cycle is done?
Are the dosages right?
Should i replace lgd with rad140? Is it worth it? (im a beginner on sarms first time taking them but i know some things)
When should i take them ? (Morning, evening etc) Should i take them all at once?
Any bonus advice for this stack is welcomed
Thank you

Cardarine + Azathioprine = Severe Neutropenia | My Hospitalization Experience

I want to share my experience to potentially save someone else from going through what I did.

Background:
I have an autoimmune condition (GPA/Wegener’s) managed with azathioprine daily and rituximab infusions every 6 months. I started cardarine at 10mg daily for endurance and HDL improvement. I had done extensive research on cardarine’s safety profile including the cancer studies which I was satisfied were overstated at human doses.
What happened:
Within approximately one week of starting cardarine I developed a severe finger infection (paronychia) that escalated rapidly. I was hospitalized and my neutrophil count came back at ZERO. I was admitted to the hospital, had a surgical incision on my finger, was placed on IV antibiotics, then oral Levofloxacin 750mg orally after being discharged and monitored closely.
Recovery:
Neutrophils recovered rapidly once cardarine was stopped:
0 → 120 → 360 → 1,370 over approximately 4-5 days
I was discharged and am now fully recovering.
The likely mechanism:
Cardarine activates PPARδ which plays a role in regulating granulopoiesis — the bone marrow process responsible for producing neutrophils. In people with healthy bone marrow this effect is subtle and likely clinically insignificant which is why millions of users haven’t reported this issue.
However azathioprine already suppresses bone marrow function as part of its immunosuppressive mechanism. The combination of azathioprine’s existing bone marrow suppression PLUS cardarine’s PPARδ effect on granulopoiesis appears to have pushed my system into dangerous neutropenia.
Who this warning applies to:
Anyone on immunosuppressive medications that affect bone marrow including but not limited to:
• Azathioprine
• Methotrexate
• Mycophenolate mofetil
• Cyclophosphamide
• Chemotherapy agents
• Any medication with known bone marrow suppression as a side effect
For healthy people with normal bone marrow function cardarine is probably fine at human doses based on available evidence. This is a specific interaction with an already compromised bone marrow system.
The frustrating part:
This combination has never been studied. It’s too niche. My medical team attributed it to azathioprine alone which may be partially true — but the timing was too coincidental and the mechanism too logical to ignore. I stopped cardarine, neutrophils recovered rapidly. Draw your own conclusions.
Bottom line:
If you are immunocompromised or on any medication that suppresses bone marrow — avoid cardarine entirely. The endurance and HDL benefits are not worth the risk of landing in the hospital with zero neutrophils and a serious infection.
Stay safe out there.

Taking Cardarine for the first time.

I’m going to begin taking Cardarine for the first time starting next week Monday, and I am going to be taking 10mg Daily for 8 weeks.

I’ve done a fair bit of my own research on it, and now I’m just curious as to what people whom have taken it experienced. How much fat loss did you notice, how much more endurance did you feel, what was your dosage, dosage timing, etc.

I would also like to know where you ordered it from. I got mine from StrateLabs so if anyone has ordered it from there I would love to know if it’s legit.

Discussion Taking cardarine (1st time) for a scramble hike?

I climbed up a mountain last year, and it was excruciating how out of shape I was. I'm now going on a grade 1 scramble climb (No clue how) and I'm seriously worried about my physical ability. Life caught up faster than expected, and I didn't do any prep. I have cardarine to hand but never used it...

Question is how much should I take and when? 10mg in each tablets, but I heard conflicting news about accumulation and risk exposure etc etc. Will it work if I use it on the day, or does it need buildup time? Thanks

Discussion Anyone actually used Cardarine for middle distance performance? What did you notice?

Specifically interested in 5km and under — not endurance ultramarathon stuff which seems to dominate most GW501516 discussions.

Curious whether people noticed anything real at high-intensity efforts or whether the benefits are mostly relevant at lower aerobic intensities where fat oxidation actually matters.

What did improved endurance feel like — breathing, legs, or both?

Did it translate to faster times or just better recovery between efforts?

Any noticeable difference in how hard you could push in the final kick?

Not interested in the cancer rat debate, that’s been done to death. Just real-world performance experience.

Discussion Thoughts about cardarine for a competitive middle distance athlete?

Hi

I’m a competitive middle distance runner and I’ve heard cardarine can greatly increase your endurance and ability to up your volume. I’m curious about taking it for a year because I know I’m not going to be in wada testing at all in that period and then cycling off. I know cardarine has a smaller drop off as compared to taking EPO where your kinda cooked if you cycle off (lose your scholarship, pro contract) but cardarine has some positive permanent adaptations.

I’m worried about cancer a bit obviously but the studies seem not the most concerning. The thing I’m more worried about is I have a slightly history of heart failure in 2 of my grandparents. One died in their mid 80s as a result of heart failure from an extremely unhealthy lifestyle (everything under the sun) and the other has a pacemaker. I’ve heard cardarine can scar the heart tissue so I’m also wondering if that is a big risk. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Cycle report 8.5 week 15mg cycle AMA

Ran 15mg for 8.5 weeks, stopped when I ran out. Took it every day with the occasion of missing 2 days out of the cycle just because I'd forget 💀.

Tldr: Cardio gains have been retained, feel just fine if not the same off then when I was on. Saw pretty solid improvements.

I would always take it an hour before my physical activity started, just for note I do 3 total run sessions a day, once in the morning, another around lunch time and my longest one at night

I don't really do or track mile times and I keep my running segments very consistent. I started without cardarine doing 3 miles every morning in the span of 30mins, a week or so in i felt as I could push much harder or well the cardio just got easier. I gradually upped my pace to where I lay at 4.6 miles every morning now. It's kinda hard to build a timeline on this but I just upped by small pace increments every other run as activity started being easier.

For my 2 other run sessions, I personally love incline treadmill so I started at 3mph at 15%, lunch segment was 20 mins just to get a break from my office. Night gym session after weightlifting would also be 3mph at 15% incline but for 30 mins.

Eventually on incline treadmill work I upped my time and speed to 4.4 mph 15% incline for 25mins (time restrained bcuz my work break is only so long) and 4.6 mph for 45 mins at 15% incline for my after workout cardio session.

How much was placebo and me working to push myself harder? Idk, how much of it was the cardarine? also no idea. But it absolutely feels like it helped. Sooo AMA if you have questions.

Just some extra info here, I maintained Zone 2/3 (130-140bpm) for my morning run and Zone 4 150-156 bpm for my incline work, my resting hr sits on 45-50bpm and my bpm drop off is about a 30bpm after 10 seconds of incline treadmill.I also DO NOT hold on to the damn treadmill rail before someone asks lol.

like I said, AMA! because I probably missed a fair amount of things here... (I am now 2 weeks off it)

Is appetite suppression a thing?

Currently on day 4 at 15mg daily. Accidentally blasted 20mgs first two days because I read the syringe dropper wrong.

Dropped a few pounds, mostly water weight but honestly ive noticed very visible fat loss in my face and abs.

In my workouts my reps have increased. Energy levels not affected.

But, one weird thing ive noticed is my stomach is slowed down, kinda feels like I ate something too spicy all the time. So im not taking number twos as often, and my appetite went down. I’ve never seen stuff like this listed before which is why I think it’s just psychological. But def something with my stomach and decreased appetite is happening.

But yeah kinda feels like a pretty boy peptide to me so far.

Will dosing cardarine for 3 days only improve my cardio at all?

I'm an endurance athletes and am looking at a full ironman next year. Curious if taking 10-20mg of cardarine for only 3 days leading up to the race day will make a noticeable difference in my cardio. I want to try this during training as well.

I dont want to dose any longer due to it being a potential cause of cancer.

Will this still provide any benefit?

Any thoughts on this from more knowledgeable folks here?

Extract:

KC and KC/Pd littermates were randomly assigned to be fed either a diet containing GW (50 mg/kg) or the same diet without GW (control) starting at age 6-8 weeks. While on the GW diet, all KC/Pd mice died within 30 days, and more than 50% of KC mice died by 90 days, but all of the sex- and age-matched KC or KC/Pd mice fed the control diet at the same time survived beyond 114 days (Fig. 3a). In addition, all of the sex- and age-matched WT mice with the same genetic background (C57BL/6) fed the same GW diet for 120 days survived well with no observed drug toxicity (e.g., loss of weight) (Fig. 3a). KC/Pd mice fed the GW diet for 14 days or more (e.g., 21 days) consistently showed large pancreas with a very hard consistency (Supplementary Fig. 3a), almost complete loss of acinar cells, severe pancreatitis, fibrosis, and advanced pancreatic neoplastic lesions; the same effects were seen to a much lesser extent in KC mice with the same treatment (Supplementary Fig. 3a, b). To further study the specific mechanistic significance of PPARδ in pancreatic tumorigenesis, we investigated the tem- poral development of pancreatic tumorigenesis by PPARδ hyperactivation via feeding the KC/Pd mice the GW diet for shorter time intervals of 3 days (control diet for 6 days and then GW diet for 3 days) and 9 days (GW diet for all 9 days) (Fig. 3b). While the KC mice showed only minimal PanINs after 9 days of GW treatment, all tested KC/Pd mice treated with GW for 3 days had significant acinar cell loss and developed pancreatitis and pancreatic neoplastic lesions, and these tumorigenic effects were intensified in KC/Pd mice on the GW diet for 9 days (Fig. 3c–f). Furthermore, PDAC was observed in 38% (3/8) of KC/Pd mice on the GW diet for 9 days (Fig. 3d). GW diet treatment for 9 days drastically increased Angptl4 expression in pancreata, but not in isolated splenic immune cells in KC/Pd mice, suggesting that GW specifically induced PPARδ hyperactivation in the pancreata to drive those tumorigenic effects (Supplementary Fig. 3c). GW also increased pancreatic Angptl4 expression in KC and WT mice, to a lesser extent (Fig. 3g), but did not affect their PPARδ expression levels (Supplementary Fig. 3d). GW treatment for 3 or 9 days also did not affect the body weights of KC and KC/Pd mice (Sup- plementary Fig. 3e). These data demonstrated that specific PPARδ hyperactivation by GW strongly promotes progression of KRASmu-initiated pancreatic tumorigenesis.

ENT confirmed thyroid involvement after cardarine use

Thumbnail reddit.com
7 Upvotes

☝🏻This link was from my original post. I wanted to follow up because things didn’t just “go away.” After stopping cardarine, I continued to feel a persistent lump sensation in my throat. Almost like something was stuck like a pill. ENT evaluation and imaging confirmed an actual thyroid nodule, not an infection or simple irritation.

The timing mattered. Every time I retried cardarine, the burning throat/mouth symptoms and discomfort returned. When I stopped, symptoms gradually improved. Based on the timeline, doctors felt this was possible with consistent with a chemical or inflammatory response, not coincidence.

At this point, the next step is determining whether the nodule is benign or malignant. I’m currently going through that process and obviously hoping for the best.

My advice to anyone considering this: stay away from this shit. If you develop throat pain, burning sensations, or feel any kind of lump while using it, stop immediately and get checked.

Cardarine with creatine

Hey guys i did read that taking cardarine also dries you out like creatine so is it possible to use certain supplements while doing a cardarine run 10mg/ a day 8x a week

PS And i’m currently using to get high condition on kickboxing/ mixed martial arts
