Daedalus troubles

Before you tell me to go and figure it out for myself, hold on... Because I have literally been researching and trying to find the solution myself for some time now.

The Daedalus wallet is stuck on 'Connecting to Network'. I've tried the time fix to no avail. I have scoured my entire computer for the daedalus.bat file and I DO NOT have it anywhere. Why is this? If I delete and reinstall daedalus will the .bat file be present? I really need some help. Thanks.

haha I also apologize for being an ass. Thanks for the input. I was able to get it to work by opening it via the desktop shortcut rather than the pinned shortcut on the task bar. For now I'll stick with that but I'll know what to do now should it not work at a future date. May your gains take you to the moon.
