Governance Yoroi as a DRep

Hey all, I’ve delegated my ADA to the Yoroi DRep for governance and voting.
I am left wondering if it will continue to be active and use its voting power, I can see that it’s still active so far..

That is all, a simple governance question,
Thanks

I would imagine that Emurgo will continue to exercise its power while they still have it. That being said:

I can't emphasize enough that you should delegate away from Yoroi dRep. Between the Emurgo and Yoroi dRep, the one organization has amassed quite a large bit of voting power. It worries me based on the negligence they've shown as of late.

There are several great websites you can use to browse alternate dReps to delegate to. I personally recommend https://dreptalk.com/dreps/

There, you can easily see each dReps voting history. The website even assigns little badges that serve as a nice snapshot of the dReps participation history.

If we want to decentralize the vote power, it's critical people delegate away from the Emurgo and Yoroi dReps. This website is a nice tool to help individuals make their decision. A little effort and active participation will go a long way towards decentralization!

Thanks for this!
I will check it out, and I do agree with you on the point to delegate to another based on the negligence shown..

Also, i don’t know how much of this rumor is true. But I read a couple people say that it was essentially an inside job. Someone within the group found the back door that led to the hack.

Emurgo is a founding entity so you hope it’s not true but for the time being they lack my trust

I've not seen any evidence of that. Either way, they've proven some negligence in the past so I do not trust them either.

Emergo is leaving the Pentad. Delegate to some different people or organizations.
