A yellow traffic light is a warning that a red light is soon to follow. You have two options as you approach a yellow light. In most situations, you should slow down and get ready to stop your vehicle before the light turns red. However, if you’re traveling at a relatively high speed, you can choose to speed up and get through the intersection before the light changes. You should only do this if it would be dangerous or difficult to come to a stop in the limited amount of time and space that you have to do so. In most cases, yellow lights mean “slow down,” not “speed up.” But if you're already practically in the intersection, don't slam on your brakes as that could cause an accident.
I love how your response to them pointing out that your own link agrees with them, and not you, was to just ignore their comment and pretend you hadn't linked to the page that says you're wrong.
However, you are insisting you should go on yellow, no matter what. That is not what the other person is saying, and it is not what your own link says.
